Plant Operator II

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator to join our team. The Operator is responsible for running and monitoring machinery or equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring quality output, and maintaining production standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment according to company procedures and safety guidelines

Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
-
Record production data, including output, downtime, and machine performance
-
Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams as needed
-
Follow all workplace health and safety standards and protocols
-
Report malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
-
Ability to Operate and Understand Flow Totalizers
-
Ability to Operate Turbidity, Brix meter and pH probe
-
Ability to properly line up all equipment
-
Ability to understand PFD and P&ID drawings

Find and identify equipment and direction of flow in the field from P&IDs

Ability to draw process flow diagrams of the unit operations

Must be willing to work a rotating 12-hour shift
Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
