Plant Operator II

On-Site, Bryan, TX

Job Summary:

​We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator to join our team. The Operator is responsible for running and monitoring machinery or equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring quality output, and maintaining production standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment according to company procedures and safety guidelines

  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications

  • Record production data, including output, downtime, and machine performance

  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams as needed

  • Follow all workplace health and safety standards and protocols

  • Report malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to Operate and Understand Flow Totalizers

  • Ability to Operate Turbidity, Brix meter and pH probe

  • Ability to properly line up all equipment

  • Ability to understand PFD and P&ID drawings

  • Find and identify equipment and direction of flow in the field from P&IDs

  • Ability to draw process flow diagrams of the unit operations

  • Must be willing to work a rotating 12-hour shift

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.​

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.​

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.​

  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.​
